potter Reed Bakken has created the highest quality stoneware and porcelain
pottery at Conover Square since 1978. The Slip and Slurry Pottery is a
full working pottery studio and sales area. You can see the pots being
made, glazed, and fired ,depending on what is happening at the studio.
Each piece is reduction fired, in a natural gas kiln, which brings out
their unique colors. All ware is lead free and microwave, dishwasher safe.
Functional to creative, this is a must see for those interested in quality
pottery at affordable prices.
