About Us:
Eagles Nest Art Group Welcomes all of those who are art-minded to participate in its full program of activities and art show opportunities. Whether you are an experienced artist or a beginner or just interested in art, you will fit into this low-key, friendly group. A variety of media are represented including oil, acrylic, watercolor, photography, fiber art, metal work, and stained glass.
Events:
The group's offerings include art demonstrations, workshops, classes, group critique opportunities, and visits to art related sites such as local galleries, foundries, and artist's studios. Each year the group has a membership art show, during the last weekend of April and the first weekend in May. Throughout the year artists have an opportunity to display their work to sell at the studio.
Members also have an opportunity to display and sell their work during Oregon's Annual October Autumn on Parade. During Oregon's Annual November Candle Light Walk, several members gather in the Conover Studio to demonstrate their art and display their work for sale.
A small group works in the studio most Thursday's throughout the year, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Artists interested in an out door painting experience also meet regularly during the mild weather months.
Membership:
Membership donation for the year is only $5, due in September, not pro-rated. The year's programming schedule is distrubted to members and visitors at the September meeting.
